Wounded Warriors Family Support is a veteran-founded, veteran-run Non-Profit dedicated to the families who serve alongside our combat-wounded warriors — and carry the weight long after the fighting stops.
Wounded Warriors Family Support was born out of firsthand knowledge of what combat takes from a family. Our founders were veterans — people who had served, who understood the culture, and who saw clearly what the system was missing: meaningful, sustained support for the families carrying the invisible burden of war.
When a service member is wounded in combat, the focus naturally turns to the warrior. But behind every wounded veteran is a spouse who became a full-time caregiver overnight, children navigating a home reshaped by injury, and family members holding everything together while their own needs go unmet. WWFS was created to stand in that gap.
More than two decades later, that founding conviction hasn’t changed. We remain veteran-led, mission-driven, and accountable to the families we serve.
