Cancer Option Collaborative is a 501C3 nonprofit organization that specializes in bringing together resources to help cancer patients combat the financial burdens experienced along their cancer journey.
Having learned of their not being an organization that met the need Mary Jenkins had while battling Stage III almost Stage IV Breast Cancer she becamed determined to successfully navigate treatment and identify any resources, if any, available to cancer patients. She heard stories of the emotional and financial hardships that others experienced while going through treatment and quickly came to the conclusion that there were simply no cancer organizations that helped patients to the extent that they so desperately needed. While still battling cancer herself, Ms. Jenkins founded the COC in October of 2006 to help cancer patients SUCCEED on their ROAD TO RECOVERY through Awareness, Emotional Support and Financial Relief Services.
The organization services are available to men, women and parents of children in ACTIVE cancer treatment respectfully, compassionately and without discrimination.
