VolunQueer was created in response to a clear gap in the volunteer ecosystem: LGBTQIA+ people and allies want meaningful ways to serve, but often lack a centralized, affirming place to find opportunities and build lasting connection, while organizations frequently lack the tools and frameworks to recruit, onboard, and retain those volunteers well. Our Mission: Exists to connect LGBTQIA+ people and allies with meaningful, affirming volunteer opportunities that strengthen communities, amplify queer voices, and turn care into action. We envision a world where every queer person and ally can find belonging, purpose, and joy through affirming service.
